United Arab Emirates chocolate brand SNA’AP Chocolates has launched a limited-edition bite-sized pistachio-kunafa chocolate eggs for the Easter season, adding a festive offering to its premium product lineup.
The bite-sized chocolates, inspired by the original pistachio-kunafa recipe created by Chef Nouel Catis, are available in both milk and dark chocolate. Each can is priced at AED 75 and comes in packaging designed for both gifting and personal indulgence.
The product is available at Chef Nouel Catis’ kiosk at Marsa Boulevard and will be on offer until April 20, or while supplies last.
This launch aligns with the UAE’s vibrant chocolate confectionery market, where over 200 brands compete, and milk chocolate commands over two-thirds of the market, followed by dark chocolate which holds over a tenth. While hazelnut dominates flavor preferences, pistachio holds a niche position in the UAE currently, yet its status as a trending flavor in global Easter 2025 launches—featuring in products like Lindt and Neuhaus eggs—underscores its current popularity. SNA’AP Chocolates’ pistachio-kunafa eggs, blending nutty pistachio with Middle Eastern kunafa, cater to this ongoing trend.
